We’re proud to announce that Sparrow Falls has been selected as the featured highlight for the month of March at NextBestBand. Next Best Band dishes up the best bands of tomorrow online, at festivals, venues, radio and TV. Sparrow Falls’ profile has been selected out of 1,500 Dutch bands that have a profile at NBB.

Sparrow Falls signs with Zwaardvis Music

We are very proud to announce that Sparrow Falls has signed a contract with Zwaardvis Music. They will be in charge of all our bookings in the Netherlands starting February 2012. Zwaardvis Music represents all kinds of artists from pop and rock to hard and heavy, among others Sabrina Starke, Pro-Pain, Hangover Hero, Tenement Kids and Jaya the Cat. Last week our promotion concept for De Grote Prijs van Nederland (remember the Good Luck To… videos? 1 2 3 4 5 6) was featured in a nice article on Eurosonic/Noorderslag Interactive Awards 2012. The article was published in De Pers, on of the Netherlands’ biggest free newspapers. We’ve been selected as one of the ‘Hollandse Nieuwe’ for 2012 [Dutch Sound of 2012] at VPRO’s 3voor12! The Hollandse Nieuwe list aims to highlight the most promising new Dutch music for the year ahead.

Sparrow Falls wins Audience Award GPNL

Yeah! We won the Audience Award during the Rock/Alternative finals from the Grand Prix of the Netherlands (the biggest live competition of the Netherlands). More than one in four visitors of both the website of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, as the quarterfinals, the semifinals and of course the finals voted for Sparrow Falls. With no less than 28% of the votes we showed the five other finalists far behind and earned the Xite Audience Award worth € 1000, -!
